Since 2005, the following have been completed:

• Establishment of the Cottageville Park Neighborhood Garden

• Decreases in crime - the total number of crimes in the Blake Road area decreased by 25% in 2010 compared to the total number in 2006

• Increased participation in after-school programming coordinated by the Hopkins Public School District Community Education Department

• Neighborhood improvements including the addition of: sidewalks along the east side of Blake Road North, garbage bins along Blake Road, and potted flowers in front of local businesses.

• Cottageville Park improvements including: additional lights, a renovated and expanded basketball court, soccer goal posts, picnic tables, and garbage bins.
