Do you live in the Blake Road area and have an interest in gardening?
Garden planning for the second year began on Friday, March 30 when a group of children, youth, and adults met in the park to begin talking about what we would like to grow and our vision for our collectively gardened neighborhood garden.
So far, carrots, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, chili peppers, and cucumbers are topping the list of plants we'd like to grow!
Would you like to join us in the garden, but were not able to attend the first meeting? Register and vote for your favorite plants by following this link.
Also, be sure to join us on Tuesday, April 10 when we'll prepare the garden by putting up the fence and spreading compost.
Children, youth, and adults, first-time and expert gardeners - all are welcome!!
