This past fall, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District purchased additional property on Blake Road - the 17 acres of property now occupied by the Cold Storage buildings at 325 Blake Road North. The purchase is part of the District's regional plans to improve the health of the creek. When the lease of the current tenant (Deli Express) expires in 3 years, the Watershed District plans to remove the building, preserve a section of land along the creek, and to sell the remainder of the land for redevelopment.
